Devil’s Night Drive-In

The lurvely Dr. Girlfriend took me to the Devil’s Night Drive-In Theatre for pre-Valentine’s Day awesomeness. It’s a Drive-In atop a parking structure in the middle of the city. The general vibe was really laid back and fun, as were the organizers. There’s something about watching Sid & Nancy at a Drive-In, enjoying the cool night air while still being in surrounded by buildings that was surreal and beautiful. The rollerderby cap hop girls and exploitation trailers didn’t hurt either. Pretty quickly I felt a little like I was in the movie “Dead End Drive-In”, which is cool by me. >=)
