Well fuck, I hope we vote out the rotten-to-the-core racist, facist, con man responsible for the deaths of 230,000+ Americans.

It has truly been a Goddamn shitshow of a Presidency. A failure on every meaningful level, that extends beyond incompetence and into criminality, and beyond that into intentional evil. His only accomplishment is galvanizing the worst aspects of our society and using their hatred to push this country further into facism. I hope we vote to change that.

Whoever wins, there's always going to be work to do, but I sincerely thank all of you who contributed your time and vote for democracy. Take care and strap in fuckers, it's gonna get weird. Or hopefully, normal.

A tale as old as time: Boy meets girl. Boy and girl fall in love. Girl's abusive father murders her, so boy brings her back to life as a violent cyborg with uncontrollable urge to kill.

This movie had potential, especially with Craven directing, but daaaamn is it terrible.

I will admit, the scene where Mama Fratelli gets her head exploded by a basketball is pretty fantastic.

I don’t post to social media often, but I want to be clear where I stand (if you know me IRL, you probably already know my opinion based on my/my family's experiences with Racism & Law Enforcement.) 1. I support Black Lives Matter 100%. They and everyone participating in the protests has made greater change to this system then anything I’ve seen in my lifetime. And that specifically includes the supposed improvements after the Rodney King beating trial, the L.A. riots and the Rampart scandal.

2. Police Brutality, particularly against People of Color is CLEARLY a problem in this country. From the disgusting execution of George Floyd to the INSANE circumstances of Breonna Taylor’s murder and the countless other cases preceding them, this should be obvious! But if it wasn’t before, it has been demonstrated clearly and repeatedly across the country during these protests. When cops from COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRECINCTS in COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STATES, REACT WITH THE SAME SOCIOPATHIC BRUTALITY, IT'S A PROVEN SYSTEMIC PROBLEM. The added “Blue Wall of Silence” only makes it worse.

If law enforcement can’t be trusted to abide by the law and order they are supposed to uphold, the system is broken. And after hearing the same old song and dance for decades (just in my lifetime), it's time to try new solutions, including divesting from the police and putting that money toward the community specialized services that actually de-escalate situations before they turn deadly and don’t promote/reward a “warrior cop” mentality. Not every situation requires a SWAT team.

3. Racial Hatred & Violence is a growing sickness in this country, from random verbal harassment, to mass shootings such as in Charleston and most recently El Paso, to organized networks of White Supremacist groups seeking to escalate violence at protests, run down protestors, and commit terrorist acts like bombings and shootings. These ideologies are also worming their way into law enforcement - and it needs to be seen as a terroristic threat.
We're finally confronting these realities. Things might actually be getting better. It's going to be a fight, but it's WELL worth it.
